Grand Theft Auto 5 was released six years ago and has managed to prosper on two generations of consoles. Of course, the Grand Theft Auto games that preceded paved the way for its success, and while GTA V was a significant evolution in the franchise it continued to provide a huge open-world game with an action-based set of missions that players were familiar with from other installments. The Expanded & Enhanced edition of Grand Theft Auto 5 is now officially delayed into 2022, Rockstar has now confirmed. Prior to today’s confirmation, Rockstar had previously planned to release Grand Theft Auto 5 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 11. That date was repeated as recently as mid-August. The updated release window of spring 2022 means that Grand Theft Auto 5’s new editions will have been delayed four additional months....

The Loveland, Colorado Republican caught himself at the tail of end of his “step on the neck” remark, noting in real-time that he was not referencing the May 25 death of George Floyd. Two autopsies revealed Floyd died of “mechanical asphyxia,” after several Minneapolis police officers applied pressure to the victim’s neck and back, with at least one of the officers using his knee. “Why is it wrong for private enterprise to come back and try to collect those debts, but at the same time this bill lets local governments and state governments step in and step on the neck— and, well—I don’t want to lean on other events that are going on outside right now,” the GOP lawmaker said at the time, catching his own comment....
