In a new feature published on the PlayStation Blog, several features are confirmed for Gotham Knights. The biggest of which has to do with Gotham Knights’ four playable characters. It’s already known that each of the four characters will be unique when it comes to playstyle. They’ll have similar but different combat styles, as well as abilities that will allow them to approach situations in entirely different ways. But now it’s confirmed that the difference between them extends even to Gotham Knights’ progression systems....

Gotham Knights is the latest game from Warner Bros. Montreal, which previously worked on Batman: Akham Origins, and is the first wholly original Batman game from the studio. The game centers on Nightwing, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Robin in the wake of Batman’s apparent death as the team tries to fill their mentor’s void and defend Gotham City. While the team will face familiar foes like Mr. Freeze and Penguin, the real threat is the mysterious Court of Owls which looks to tighten its grip on Gotham from behind the scenes with Batman seemingly out of the picture....

Taking inspiration from some retro Nintendo console designs of yesteryear, Reddit user IanMazgelis took the classic purple GameCube look and created their own fan-made design of what it would look like as a part of the Nintendo Switch. While this hypothetical GameCube Switch layout is very impressive to say the least, perhaps the most interesting part of this fan design is how the Joy-Con uses the GameCube controller’s unique ABXY button layout as opposed to the classic ABXY layout on every other Nintendo console....

The PlayStation community has known about Gran Turismo 7 for a couple years now, it being officially revealed along side the PS5, but rumors about its development going back before it. For passionate gamers, Grand Theft Auto 3 is a title that can still be enjoyed in its original state, but it can be frustrating for modern gamers who are used to contemporary titles. A proper remake could address these issues, ensuring new gamers can appreciate just what an important title GTA 3 is. Now, the talented Machinima producers over at GTA Series Videos have created a tribute to the title within Grand Theft Auto 5. The video shows Red Dead Redemption protagonist John Marston continuing the shootout he began in the Old West in modern day Los Santos. Swapping his horse for a motorbike and his six-shooter for a heavy machine gun, Marston certainly fits in with the cast of characters that was introduced in GTA 5....

The data from the Entertainment Retailers Association (ERA) shows that Grand Theft Auto 5 sold almost 439k physical and download copies during the March 23 to June 13 lockdown period, behind only Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with just under 475k, and FIFA 20 with over 506k. The game has remained the highest selling game of all-time in the UK since 2014, and has now sold a staggering 135 million copies worldwide, putting it behind only Minecraft in the all time global sales charts....

That’s according to Axios, as spotted by PCGamesN. Allegedly, Grand Theft Auto 6 was originally going to be built across three cities and have four protagonists. However, the report goes on to say that things have been scaled down. Having four playable characters would have been hugely aspirational, especially considering the complex interwoven lives of the three protagonists in GTA 5. Of course, it should be said that this information has not been confirmed by Rockstar, but it wouldn’t be too surprising for the developer to initially want to make something ambitious that later had to be trimmed down....
