The conference said in a statement that it “considers the matter closed and will have no further comment.”

After the game, Allen downplayed the incident.

“He wanted to keep playing physical,” Allen said, according to the Fayetteville Observer. “So I tried to walk away from it as he was grabbing me. We ended up tangling up and falling.”

This is not the first time Allen’s aggressiveness has been called into question. He also tripped Louisville’s Raymond Spalding in a game earlier this month, and received a flagrant foul for that incident. Allen was not called for a foul Thursday night.
